Luc de Brabandere
Corporate Philosopher
Luc de Brabandere is a BCG fellow, and a Senior Advisor in the Strategy Practice of the firm. Based in Brussels, he is co-author of ‘Thinking in New Boxes: A New Paradigm for Business Creativity’. He is a member of faculty of various universities.
With BCG since 2001, he leads strategic seminars with boards, executive committees and the management of companies and various organisations. He helps people looking to develop new strategic visions, new products and services, and long-term scenarios to prepare for the future.
He is also the author or co-author of many other books, including ‘The Forgotten Half of Change’ and is a regular columnist for various newspapers. He is the founder of www.cartoonbase.com, a communication agency focused on design thinking.
Prior to his current position, Mr de Brabandere held the positions of Chairman of the Belgian National Geographic Institute (1997–98), General Manager at the Brussels Stock Exchange (1990–91) and Computer Scientist and Information Services Manager at the Générale de Banque (until 1989).
